Scholarships & Financial Assistance

शिवालिक महाविद्यालय में पढ़ने वाले आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर, SC/ST, OBC और अल्पसंख्यक वर्ग के छात्रों को विभिन्न सरकारी और गैर-सरकारी छात्रवृत्तियों का लाभ मिलता है। Shivalik Mahavidyalaya facilitates various Government scholarships to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder a student's education.

Students are advised to apply on the UP Scholarship Portal within the stipulated dates every academic year.

Scholarship Schemes

Pre-Matric Scholarship (SC/ST)

Provided by the Government of Uttar Pradesh for students belonging to SC/ST categories. Covers tuition fee and maintenance allowance.

UP Government

Post-Matric Scholarship (SC/ST)

For SC/ST students studying in higher education (Graduation level). Covers full tuition fee reimbursement and maintenance allowance as per income slab.

UP Government / Central Govt.

OBC Scholarship (Samajwadi Scholarship)

For students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) with annual family income below ₹2 lakh. Applied through UP Scholarship portal.

Minority Scholarship

Available for students from minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi, Jain). Applied through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Ministry of Minority Affairs

Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Scholarship

For meritorious students from economically weaker sections in UP. Priority given to girls and students from rural areas pursuing higher education.

NSP – National Scholarship Portal

Central government scholarships available for SC/ST/OBC/Minority/EWS students. Applied through scholarships.gov.in.

How to Apply for Scholarship

Application Steps

  • Visit the UP Scholarship Portal: scholarship.up.gov.in
  • Register as a new student using your Aadhar Card number.
  • Fill the scholarship form with correct personal and academic details.
  • Upload required documents (marksheet, income certificate, caste certificate, bank passbook, photo).
  • Submit the form online and generate the hard copy.
  • Submit the hard copy with original documents to the college office for college verification.
  • The college will verify and forward the application to the district office.
  • After approval, scholarship amount is directly credited to the student's bank account (DBT).

Documents Required

  • Aadhar Card (mandatory)
  • 10th & 12th Marksheet
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Minority)
  • Income Certificate (issued by Tehsil office, valid for current year)
  • Domicile/Resident Certificate
  • Bank Passbook (with IFSC & Account Number clearly visible)
  • Fee Receipt from College
  • Enrollment/Admission Certificate from College
  • Passport size photograph (recent)
  • Mobile number linked with Aadhar

Important

Bank account must be in the student's own name. Joint accounts are NOT accepted for scholarship disbursement.
