Shivalik Mahavidyalaya is proudly affiliated to Maa Pateshwari University (MPU), Balrampur, a state university established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. MPU oversees affiliated colleges across the districts of Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, and Bahraich, ensuring academic standards and holistic development of higher education in the region.
MPU is recognized by the University Grants Commission under Section 2(f), ensuring national-level academic standards and recognition of degrees.
